The 10-minute AI visibility self-test
Do this today, free, before you pay anyone for an audit
- Open ChatGPT (or Gemini) and ask: "Who's the best letting agent in [your town]?" Note whether you're mentioned at all.
- Ask the follow-up: "Why them?" — see whether the reasoning given matches anything true about a competitor's actual strengths, or is generic filler (a sign the model has thin real information about the whole local market).
- Search Google for a query a landlord might ask and check whether an AI Overview appears above the normal results — if so, are you cited as a source anywhere in it?
- Check your own Google Business Profile and one review platform: how recent is your newest review, and does it mention anything specific (area, property type, outcome) rather than just "great service"?
- Search your own agency name plus "reviews" and see what a model says about you unprompted, with no leading question.
If most of these come back blank or generic, that's not a Google problem — that's an AI visibility problem, and it's what the Audit measures properly.
